This bike was acquired after a year of riding the Le Mans proved pretty conclusively that it's not a great commuting bike. I had been wanting one for a year or so, and finally had the right coincidence of money and luck to get one. I wanted it for its gas mileage, but it ends up that I like riding it as well as I like the Le Mans, just for different reasons. It was sold after it started showing signs that I was either too heavy for it, or was riding it too hard.
